The Piece with the carpet
Commissioned by Hubbard Street Dance CREATE (2024)
This work was created in the summer of 2024 at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago’s Create summer program, where I was a guest choreographer for both the adult and teen programs. The Piece with the carpet explores how we can lay down the challenges that that life brings us, how we can share in the act of storytelling and listening, and through movement find patterns to show similarities.
