Effort of Hope

Commissioned by the UCSB Dance Company

Created fully over zoom during the pandemic. It exists as both a staged work and dance film. It was performed on a virtual platform in April of 2021 and in a live performance in June of 2021. This work explore the performers personal experiences with the loneliness and isolation experienced during the COVID19 pandemic and the effort it takes to remain hopeful.
